Casa Bea villa was built in 1840, 1920 and 2015 to present. The villa is nestled in 150 year old pine tree forest, on a rock ledge overlooking Lake Rosamarina, with mountain views of Caccamo and beyond. Sounds of cow and sheep bells ring in the valley. Serene and quiet.

The main house consists of 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is surrounded by an old stone roman terrace. Two separate buildings have ensuite bedrooms with private bathrooms and one with a small kitchen.

The deep plunge pool and a smaller wading pool overlooks the Lake and mountains.

The house is 30 kilometers from Palermo and a short ride to the mid-evil town of Caccamo with the third largest castle in Europe and famous for their sausage. Cefalu is near by as well all the historical sites.

“Our stay was PERFECT! The house is phenomenal-beautifully situated overlooking a reservoir surrounded by rural Sicilian countryside. Olive trees, goats and a hill town in the distance-the works! The property farmhouse that has been tastefully restored with a mix of new and antique furnishings-stylish but not precious. Modern conveniences are provided for including good wifi, effective A/C, plenty of hot water, dishwasher and washing machine. The main house has four bedrooms + two full baths over two floors and has modern very well supplied kitchen/great room. The main house is supplemented by two detached en-suite apartments, one with kitchenette. While we found the house perfect for two you could comfortably accommodate 5 couples with feeling crowded. The exterior has several patios including a terrace surrounding a deep pool with a separate smaller soaking tub plus and outdoor shower. We loved getting out and exploring Sicily, but you could easily park yourself at the house and never leave. The property is accessed via a partially unpaved rural road so an SUV is recommended-we had no issue but nervous drives should be aware. Services, shopping and main roads are about 15 mins drive away. Superlative experience!

“This place was amazing! We had six people and for us the place was very spacious, with three different houses and rooms all over. The scenery was beautiful with great views. This was definitely worth the stay. The only minus was the road, but once you get the hang of it, it is definitely manageable. Just make sure to not rent a car that is too large. Also, do not miss out on letting Bruno and Giovanni cook for you!”

“I cannot praise this lovely house highly enough. The house is delightful. It is a beautiful place to stay with stunning scenery. The most noise came from the sheep bells from the local flock and the occasional snuffling of wild boar late at night!. Everything you could need is in the house and it has so many lovely touches. We especially enjoyed watching films on the projector! The outside space is beautiful too. The pools are amazingly refreshing on a hot day and having a deep pool for swimming and a shallow one for walling in was a real treat. Do not miss out on a home cooked local meal by chef Bruno. It will be a highlight of your stay. All in all, one of the best retreats we ever stayed in.”
